Christ's Church in Europe has an Unparalleled Future
We spent the entire week at the Cumorah Academy. I was privileged to be a mentor all week. I presented 3 Leadership classes (communications, listening-empathy, integrity-trust) and 3 business skill classes (customers, working capital, net present value-decision process).
Sister Schroedter and I presented 2 firesides. As mentioned, we did a fireside last Sunday evening on the names and references to Jesus Christ and his titles in the scriptures. There was strong support and solidarity for our Ukrainian students by all students and leaders. We pray that Peace will prevail between Russia and Ukraine.
On Wednesday evening, we reviewed the Europe Devotional of 23-Jan-2022 (link attached below). We opened the fireside singing the 1st verse of "I am a Child of God" 9 times in 9 of the 12 languages and 13 countries represented at Cumorah this winter term.
President Nelson stated that he is not naive about growing secularism in the world and in Europe. However, he expressed his optimism that he has confidence in the European Saints to bring many to the knowledge that God is real that faith in Christ will grow. Europe has an unparalleled future because of the saints here. They have access to God's power to literally change the future of Europe.

In addition to the 14 temples listed in Europe, 5 more have been announced in:
Austria, Belgium, Hungary, Norway and Russia
What great opportunities for these students across Europe here in their countries to do much good spiritually and temporally. Sister Schroedter and I were able to get 3 walks in during the week (2-3 miles). We saw huge rabbits along the way, and enjoyed the beauty of the campus with a lightly fallen snow.
